Safe2Drive makes it easy and convenient for Texas Driver's License holders to obtain a copy of their Certified Driving Record. Some courts require a copy of your driver's record that must be submitted with your Certificate of Completion in order for your ticket to be dismissed. Please note that driver records can only be ordered for Texas driver's license holders.
During registration, you will be asked whether you want to order a copy of your driver record along with your course purchase.
If you decide to order your driver record, all you have to do is fill out the online form. Then, we will process the request to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) so you don't have to!
Your driver record will be emailed to you the same day you order it as long as you order it and make payment for the driver record prior to 4 PM CST on a business day (Monday through Friday). If you pay for your driver record after 4 PM CST or on a non-business day, it will be emailed to you the next business day.
You will be able to update your order at the time of payment in case you change your mind about the driver record option. However, we are unable to refund the driver record fee once your order has been processed.
