Nevada Driver Education 30-Hour Course
Overview
Take Safe2Drive's NV DMV-approved 30-hour Driver Education course to qualify for your driver's license if you're under age 18. Our course is entirely online - take
it on your phone, laptop, tablet or any device with an internet connection. You can even take it with you on the go!
Enjoy fun, interactive lessons with games, videos and animations. You can proceed through the course at your own pace and come and go as often as you like -
each time you log off, we save your place in the course.
At the end of the course, you'll take a short, multiple-choice final exam. When you pass the final exam, we will provide you with an affidavit that must be
signed and notarized to verify that you completed the course and final exam without outside assistance. Please note that the notarized affidavit is required by law for all online schools. If you are under age 18, your parent or legal guardian must sign this as well.
You can submit the notarized affidavit to us via online upload, email, fax, or mail. Once we verify your notarized affidavit, we will email you your Certificate of Completion.
In addition to completing the 30-hour online course, you must also complete 50 hours of behind-the-wheel experience with a licensed driver who is 21 years or older and who has been licensed for at least one year seated next to you at all times. Ten hours of this must be completed at night.
You can use the Nevada DMV’s Parent's Supervised Driving Guide for detailed lessons and tips on the skills beginning drivers need to learn to stay safe on the road. Keep a written log (DLD 130) of the dates and times of this behind-the-wheel experience. You can also use the RoadReady app. Your parent or guardian must sign the first page of the DLD-130 form.
