Defensive Driving (Point Reduction)
We will email your Certificate of Completion to you after you pass the final exam. You can also print a copy of your certificate from your account. You must sign the certificate and email or mail it to the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD). This is your proof that you completed an approved Idaho Defensive Driving program. The email address and
mailing address to which you can send the certificate are:

Insurance Discount
You can print your certificate online immediately after passing the final exam. Present your certificate to your insurance company to obtain a discount. Discounts, if any, vary from insurer to insurer. Please check with your insurance company to make sure they offer discounts to drivers who complete an Insurance Discount course.
Mature Driver Improvement
We will email your Certificate of Completion to you after you pass the final exam. You can also print a copy of your certificate from your account. Present a copy of your certificate to
your insurance company to obtain a discount. Please contact your insurance provider to determine the actual discount amount.
In order to receive a point reduction, you must sign your certificate and send it to the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD). The ITD will then remove up to two points from your driving record.
