1. Alaska Defensive Driving
Take this DMV-approved online defensive driving course to get a 2-point reduction on your driving record or to satisfy a court referral.
2. Alaska Insurance Discount
You may be eligible for an insurance discount by completing our online Insurance Discount course. Discounts, if any, vary from insurer to insurer. Please check with your insurance company before taking our course.
3. Alaska Mature Driver
Drivers age 55 and over may be eligible for an insurance discount by completing our online Mature Driver Discount course. Discounts, if any, vary from insurer to insurer. Please check with your insurance company before taking our course.

How It Works
Our online Alaska driving courses are easy and convenient. Get everything done in four easy steps!
1. Register
Registration is fast and easy! Simply create a username and password. Use your username and password to access the course as often as you want. We provide an unlimited number of logins.
2. Complete the Course
Our courses consist of short lessons made up of engaging text, games, animations, and videos. You can complete your course at the pace that works best for you. Each time you log in, we automatically take you to where you last left off.
3. Pass the Exam
For Defensive Driving Point Reduction or Court-Referred Courses:
You may take the exam online. The final exam consists of 10 multiple-choice questions. You must score 80% or higher to pass.
You may take the exam as many times as necessary to pass. Safe2Drive does not charge a fee for retaking the exam.
Exams are timed. You are given 90 seconds to answer each question. The question is marked wrong if you fail to answer it in the time allowed. You proceed
to answer each question from start to finish. There is no opportunity to go back and change answers.
For Insurance Discount Courses:You may take the short multiple-choice final exam online. You must score at least 80% to pass.
You may take the exam as many times as necessary to pass at no additional charge.
4. Get Your Certificate
For Defensive Driving Point Reduction Courses: We email you your Certificate of Completion and you can print a free copy of it from your account for your records. We submit your completion information to the DMV for you.
For Defensive Driving Court-Referred Courses:We email you your Certificate of Completion and you can print a free copy of it from your account. Sign the certificate and deliver it to your court.
For Insurance Discount Courses: You can print your certificate online immediately after passing the final exam. Send your certificate to your insurance provider to receive the discount.
