Overview

1. Failure-to-Yield / Right-of-Way

Take our Failure-to-Yield / Right-of-Way course to satisfy a DOT requirement or improve your knowledge of drivng laws and techniques. Our course is approved by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (DOT).

How It Works

1. Register

Registration is fast and easy -- only two minutes! Create a username and password. Use your username and password to access the course as often as you want. We provide an unlimited number of logins.

2. Pay

Our course is competitively priced plus we have no hidden fees. We notify the Wisconsin DOT of your completion for free. We offer several convenient payment options: credit card online, credit card by phone, or check by mail.

3. Complete the Course

Our course consists of short lessons that include lecture material and videos. The course is two hours long as required by the Wisconsin DOT. You can complete it all at once or over a period of time. We automatically take you to your last spot each time you log in.

4. Pass the Exam

You must pass the final exam at the end of the course. The online exam is easy and takes about 15 minutes. It consists of 15 multiple-choice questions, and you must score at least 80% (12 correct answers). No need to worry! We offer an unlimited number of retries free of charge.

5. Get Your Completion Certificate

You can print a copy of your Completion Certificate after passing the final exam. We also email you a copy. Your certificate is your proof that you have successfully completed a Failure-to-Yield / Right-of-Way Course. We notify the DOT of your completion within 1 business day. Once we have processed your completion, you can check your driving status and eligibility to reinstate your operating privilege if your license has been suspended by visiting the Wisconsin DOT website here.

2. Insurance Discount Only

  • You may be eligible for an insurance discount by completing our defensive driving course. Discounts, if any, vary from insurer to insurer. Please check with your insurance company before taking our course.
  • The course is for insurance discount only and is not intended to be taken for ticket dismissal unless specifically approved by the court.
  • This course is intended for all licensed drivers up to age 55. Mature drivers (age 55 or older) must complete a mature driver course.

3. Mature Driver Improvement

  • You may obtain a discount on your auto insurance premium by completing a driver improvement course. The amount of the discount, if any, varies by insurance company. Check with your insurance agent to see the discount available to you.
  • The course is for insurance discount only and is not intended to be taken for ticket dismissal unless specifically approved by the court.
  • This course is intended for all licensed mature drivers age 55 and older.
