Seven Day Rule

What is it?

Most courts require that you complete the course seven days prior to your court date. The problem is that some courts enforce this rule, but other courts do not. The only sure way to know is to call the court.

Extensions

Nearly all courts will grant an extension if your seven-day deadline is approaching. Again, the best way to get an extension is to call the court directly. However, we will be glad to help out. Call us if you want assistance.

Important: You must seek an extension before the seven-day deadline! Do not wait until your court date is tomorrow. Big problem then!

Ugh! My Court Date is Less than Seven Days Away...

Call the court or call us to learn your options. With some courts, an extension can still be obtained. With other courts, you may need to go to the court and speak with the court to petition the judge for an extension.
