| You typically take a defensive driving (also called traffic school) course after you have been issued a citation. Your ticket will be dismissed upon successful completion. |
| Each court specifies its eligibility requirements for defensive driving;
therefore you must check with your court. In general, you are eligible for defensive driving if: |

Our course consists of eight lessons, including lecture material, animations, games, and a short quiz after each lesson (10 questions on a quiz; You must answer 8 questions correctly to proceed).
You can complete the course at your own pace. Each time you login, we automatically take you to where you last left off.
You may take the exam online. It consists of 25 questions, and you must correctly answer 20 questions to pass.

Clark County: We will send the certificate to the court the same day you finish, if you finish by 3PM PST Monday-Friday. Otherwise, it will mailed on the next business day. You can also print a copy online for your records.
King County: We will send the certificate to you. You sign it and send it to the court.
We normally send certificates via First-Class Mail (by 3PM PST, Monday-Friday), which typically takes 3-4 days. We also offer FedEx Overnight and FedEx 2-Day in the event
you need your certificate delivered sooner. There is no charge for First-Class delivery; there is a charge for FedEx. FedEx does not deliver to P.O. Boxes.
