What are Safe Driving Points?
Safe driving points are awarded each year to any driver who holds a valid driver's license and does not have any traffic violations or suspensions for the full calendar year. You may also receive safe driving points from completing a Virginia Driver Improvement Clinic course. You may acquire a total of 5 safe driving points.
Reduce Demerit Points
Each time you commit a traffic offense, demerit (bad) points are added to your driving record. You can use your safe driving points to reduce any demerit points on your record.
DMV Approved
Safe2Drive is approved by the DMV to offer safe driving points to students. All you have to do is complete our online driver improvement clinic course. After you complete our course, we will notify the DMV of your completion and you will receive your safe driving points!
