What are the benefits of this course?
Take this course if you want to qualify for an insurance discount of 5% or higher for the next three years. In addition, up to 2 points will be removed from your driving record in the event your record has points.
How does New Jersey Mature Driver Improvement work?
Our course consists of eight lessons, short quizzes, and a final exam. The lessons are made up of reading material, videos, animations, and interactive exercises. The final exam consists of multiple-choice questions.
Upon passing the exam, you may print the Certificate. Present your Certificate of Completion to your insurance carrier to obtain an insurance discount.
How long does it take?
This is a six-hour course and will take you a minimum of six hours to complete.
Must I finish the course in one sitting?
No. The course is self-paced and you can take it at your leisure. We provide an unlimited number of logins. Just use your username and password to login, and you can continue where you last left off.
Can I take the exam online?
Yes, you can take the exam online. Our online exam consists of multiple-choice questions and requires about 10-15 minutes to complete.
What happens if I do not pass the exam?
Most people pass the exam the first time. However, you can take the exam as often as necessary without any additional charge.
How will the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission know that I have completed the course?
We will notify the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (NJ MVC) within 24 hours after you finish that you have completed the course. Please allow the NJ MVC 1-2 weeks to update your driving record. Feel free to contact the NJ MVC toll-free at 1-888-486-3339.
How soon will I get my Certificate?
After passing the final exam, you will be able to print a copy of the Certificate for your records. You can print your Certificate from any computer with a printer.
