Take Traffic School for Ticket Dismissal

California Traffic School in Nevada County

Drivers who get a ticket in Nevada County can take our traffic school to get those tickets dismissed. We are approved by the Superior Court in Nevada County. Safe2Drive notifies the court you completed traffic school the same day you finish.

Court Locations

Nevada Superior Court has two court locations where you may take care of a traffic ticket: the Nevada City Location and the Truckee Location. The Nevada City Location is located at 201 Church Street, Suite 9, Nevada City, CA 95959. The Truckee Location is at 10075 Levon Avenue Truckee, CA 96161. The court location to which your case is assigned is listed on your ticket.

Courtesy Notice

You will receive a Courtesy Notice in the mail within three weeks of getting a ticket. The Courtesy Notice will indicate how much you will need to pay, the due date if your violation was an infraction, or the scheduled mandatory Court appearance date if your violation was a misdemeanor. The notice will also contain information regarding traffic school eligibility. Call the phone number on your ticket if you do not receive the notice within 3 weeks.

Your Citation

Your citation is a notice to appear before the court to be arraigned on the charges on the citation. You then respond to the charges against you pleading either guilty, not guilty or no contest.

Courtesy Notice

You will receive a courtesy notice about 3 weeks after getting a ticket. The notice describes your options and what to do. It also will tell you if you are eligible for traffic school.

Eligibility for Traffic School

You may be eligible for traffic school if you have not attended traffic school within the last 18 months. The courtesy notice will tell you if you are eligible.

Request Traffic School

You request traffic school by submitting to the court an administrative fee plus bail. Upon receipt of bail plus the administrative fee, your case will automatically be extended by the clerk 60 days to allow for the completion of traffic school and receipt of the certificate of completion.

How It Works

You can register on our web site by choosing Nevada County and then the court location to which your case has been assigned. Follow the prompts to complete the course and pass the exam. Safe2Drive will electronically send the certificate directly to the court. You can print a receipt for your records. Please allow 1-2 days for the court to process your completion.
